Course Description
HTML 4.0 Fundamentals, Quessing's cornerstone Web publishing course, was developed to teach the core technologies and fundamental use of the HyperText Markup Language, or HTML (W3C Specifications 3.2 and 4.0). This full-day course exposes students to the basic syntactical, technical, and publishing aspects of HTML. Students gain hands-on experience creating HTML tags, tag attributes, character references (both numeric and entity), and different types of hyperlinks.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, students will have been exposed to and have a thorough understanding-via lecture and hands-on exercises-of the following topics:
Hypertext theory (linear vs. nonlinear information)
Scripting language characteristics
HTML tags (syntax, usage, and categories)
HTML tag attributes

Intended Audience
This is an Internet publisher-centric course intended for students with little or no HTML experience. This course familiarizes students with the HyperText Markup Language (version 4.0) and popular styles and conventions for creating attractive, effective Web pages and sites.

Course Description
HTML 4.0 Intermediate, Quessing's second Web publishing course, is a continuation of HTML 4.0 Fundamentals. This course teaches students how to create Web sites using more advanced features of HTML 4.0. This full-day course exposes students to frames, advanced frame layout, linking frames, tables, and formatting and nesting tables.
